Smell Great on the Cheap

Do you love smelling like a celebrity and wearing designer labels? Do you find yourself being drawed in at the beauty counters to make that purchase? Well, if you do, you might be signing away all of your savings. Most perfumes and fragrances can cost  hundreds of dollars for just one ounce. But don’t fret. If you know where to look, you can save a bundle. Try these tips out:

  • Find the right place. Don’t go to department stores. That is where you will find overpriced items. Instead, go to a perfume outlet. The majority of these sell items at a low price. Just make sure you know the difference between the actual designer and a knock off.
  • Check discount stores. Many of the big box companies like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc carry a variety of designer perfumes at  a decent price.
  • Auction sites. With the advances in the internet, auction sites can literally be your one stop shop. I know for myself even, I often check online before I look anywhere else for a product. Check out places like eBay or Amazon for the scents you love. In some cases, people are trying to sell unwanted gifts or doubles and you might just find what you want.

Remember this: never pay full price for designer perfume. If you know where to look, you can find a great deal.
