Starting tomorrow morning, we’ll have three more new staff writers hanging out here at Prairie Eco-Thrifter. Like I mentioned a couple weeks ago, my goal here at PET is to bring a wide range of viewpoints and strategies to the world of personal finance, living green, saving money, and being healthy.
You have all met Derek from Life And My Finances who is bringing you tips on career building and earning extra money. He will also be sharing methods you can use to build sources of passive income.
You also met Chris from FreelancePF who was sharing tips on how to eat well, lose weight, and live a healthy lifestyle, however due to personal circumstances, he has had to resign from writing for this blog. I wish Chris the best in life now and in the future.
Today I ask you to please join me in welcoming Eugene, Denise, and Marie to the team.
Denise is from The Single Saver. The Single Saver is a website dedicated to helping singles and small families save money with easy to implement money saving tips. Outside of her blogging life, she works full time as a magazine editor/designer for a large national company. She also teaches part-time at a local University. And for fun, she studies new ways to save money in life (yeah, seriously, she finds that fun… ). She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her wonderful pets.
Denise will be sharing tips on how to live frugal and yet still have fun. Since I too strive to live this way, I am keen to hear Denise’s tips and tricks.
Eugene is is the founder of stoopidsuccess.com and EugeneCraig.com. He often covers topics on how to make money, investing, personal finance, and achieving success.
He will be sharing tips on living healthy. Like me, Eugene knows how important the status of health is, not only to our happiness, but also to our personal finances. He will occasionally share some tips on how to live frugal too which are always helpful.
Marie blogs at FamilyMoneyValues . Her goals is to help families understand the potential consequences of wealth. She encourages her readers to take the long view and pull all family generations together to nourish the family legacy and wealth.
Marie will be sharing tips on how to save and invest for your future. Since I too am a big believer in working together as a family and being there through thick and thin, I am very excited to hear Marie’s tips on how to build a stronger and wealthier family.
I’m extremely excited to have all four of these awesome people on board as I know they’ll bring those different perspectives that Prairie Eco-Thrifter has been missing.

Thanks for the welcome! I am thrilled to be joining the team. Readers, tell me… what topics would you like to see me write about in the future?
I’ve already started following Derek from another guest post of his that I thought was a good read, he’ll be a great addition.
@ Justin. Glad to hear you are enjoying his posts.
Welcome to all! Having staff writers is a great idea. Gives you a break, and a different perspective. I am actually thinking of ‘hiring’ my 17 year old as a staff writer.
@Everyday tips. I think it would be really neat to read a teens perspective on personal finance especially when so many out there seem to have no idea how to manage their money.
Congrats on the new additions to the team!
@Jeff. Thanks. I am hoping readers enjoy the new perspectives.
Miss T, I’m interested to read what you are developing, sounds like a great team! Congrats
@ Barb. Thanks. I think all of our perspectives will line up perfectly.
