“Confidence comes not from always being right but not fearing to be wrong.” Anonymous
This is one I can relate to. For years I was people pleaser and I always stressed myself out with trying to say and do the right thing. Eventually I burnt out. I couldn’t keep up with the stress of being afraid to fail or say something that someone didn’t agree with. Eventually I built up the confidence to try things out and share what was in my heart and mind without worrying if it was right. I was finally free to be who I was.
In so many areas of our lives we are fed this expectation that we have to always know what to do and what to say at any given moment. Well this is unrealistic and something that none of us would be able to keep up with forever. Instead be honest with yourself and don’t be afraid to take a risk or say something that isn’t the norm. We are constantly learning and developing and by learning what is right and wrong in our own minds is the only way that we will succeed in our life. Be confident with who you are and don’t worry if you find out later that you were wrong. You will be much happier.
