Do you want to look great and yet not have to empty your pockets? Or, do you want to save money on your career wardrobe? Great, then here are a few tips for you to try:
Know your figure and style. Don't just buy the latest fad because you think you should. A lot of clothes companies make clothes for a specific shape or size, so make sure to find the style that best suits you.
Buy the best quality you can. The higher the quality of clothes the longer they will last. They will wash better and wear less which in turn saves you money because you replace them less often.
Always buy classic. This applies to anything from shoes, suits, coats, etc. If you buy items that look classic, they won't go out of style and will stand the test of time or any fashion trend that comes along. Classic clothes can also be passed down to others which helps save money.
Always buy on sale. If you can be patient you can often find that same stunning piece of clothing a couple months later and a fraction of the price. Styles won't go out of fashion within that time frame, so why not save yourself the money.
Clothing swaps. Swap items between you and your friends. Things like hats, bags, and shoes work great. That way you each get a new look without having to spend a dime especially if you only needed the outfit for one specific occasion. I have done this and it works fantastic!
Remember, dressing well and stylish does not need to cost an arm and a leg. It just takes a bit of time, organization, and planning.
So, how do you save money on clothes? Please share your tips here. I would love to try them out.
