Forget about Vaseline, hair dye, and furniture polish….Tea is now your #1 applicator. Check out what you can do with a simple tea bag:
- Give your roses a kick: sprinkle new or used tea leaves around the bottom of your plants. When you water them, the tea releases and spurs growth.
- Enhance your compost pile: Pour a few cups of tea into your heap. The tea speeds up the decomposition.
- Shine your mirrors: Dampen a cloth in tea that has cooled and use it to wipe the surface of your mirrors.
- Clean wood furniture and floors: Dip a soft cloth in tea that has cooled, wring out the excess and wipe. Buff and dry with a clean soft cloth.
- Dry poison ivy: Dip a cotton ball into tea and dab it on the infected area and let it air dry.
- Eliminate foot odour: Soak your feet in a brewed tea for 20 minutes a day.
- Tan your skin: Pour 2 cups of tea in a spray bottle and spray onto your skin. Let yourself air dry. Repeat until your desired darkness is reached.
- Condition dry hair: Use a litre of warm tea as a final rinse after you shampoo.
- Reduce razor burn: Apply a wet tea bag to the affected area.
